- Its not all magic!
- Not every request can be automated. In some cases I have to manually find and process things and this takes a bit of time. I have made improvements over the last few months to make this easier on myself, but unfortunately no system is perfect. I have to pull from very long list of sources in order to “make things work”. In most cases this is an invite only and pay to be a member of the “club”.
- Custom scripts and applications
- In most cases I can use “off the shelf” applications, but I have spent years customizing those applications and writing scripts to have things “bend to my will” so to speak. Those scripts and custom applications drive the core of the seamless/magical experience to you folks.
- Plex Pass
- In order to share with everyone and provide all the features. I have to pay for plex pass.
- Storage
- In order to be able to support everyone I had to upgrade my storage device last November. That was a pretty expensive endevore and now allows me to grow the array which is already 31TB
- Countless hours of tinkering/testing
- This is forever ongoing, and as I thoroughly enjoy it sometimes, it is a huge time sink at the worst possible times.
